The 1st for Women Insurance Charity Trust
As a 1st for Women policyholder, you not only receive insurance cover with care but also donate a portion of your premium to the 1st for Women Insurance Insurance Trust and therefore help make a meaningful difference to the lives of many women in South Africa.
To date, and thanks to you, the 1st for Women Insurance Trust has donated over R7.5 million to women related causes and charity organisations.

.JPG) 1ST FOR WOMEN TEAMS UP WITH THE LEIGH MATTHEWS TRUST
In 2007, the 1st for Women Insurance Trust embarked on a very exciting partnership with the Leigh Matthews Trust.
The Leigh Matthews Trust is a non-profit organisation that raises funds to support initiatives that assist survivors of abuse and crime.
Funds from the 1st for Women Insurance Trust are being used to establish Leigh Matthews Stress and Trauma Centres in and around Gauteng.
To date, we have established the following Leigh Matthews Stress and Trauma Centres:
- Windsor East
- UJ Campus, Soweto
- Kensington B, Randburg
The core focus of Leigh Matthews Stress and Trauma Centres is to offer free counselling to survivors of abuse, rape, stress, trauma and grief.
